Sorry about your experience Nate. It's part of the dirtball style of psych out sales in the auto industry.
I was in a dealership looking at a new car for my wife about 6-8 years ago. Sat down with the salesman. You know the type, was sporting the Mr. T starter set of gold bracelets and necklaces and shaded sun glasses.
We're chatting about the $$ and he flips out a bill of sale form and starts filling it out. Wanted my signature. I signed it "Bite Me". This A hole had the balls to chastise me for my actions. I grabbed the sales contract and hiked out. The next week I made a point of driving in with an identical new Maxima from a dealer about 15 miles away.
I walked in and left a photocopy of the sales contract on his and the sales manager's desks replete with nasty note about mister T. Man, I can be a prick!!

On the other note as Hemi says, I'd love to watch a valet try to maneuver my pw through a tight parking lot, much less find out where the starter pedal is. As mine has formed 2" angle on the fenders and running boards, and a 6" C channel bumper, it would be worth some scratched paint just to see him clobber some new Caddy.
