Good job, Chris. I believe your kids are rare in the general scheme of things. My 2 sons started coming to work with me when they were 7 years old, and have been steady at it until now. My oldest son is 39, next one is 36. They don't even need me around anymore. Ha ha. My 2 daughters started taking care of my books when they were 16. The oldest one got married and the younger one took over. Oldest one is 42, youngest one is 33. I don't know what I would do without them. I haven't been up to par the last few weeks and my son organized some friends to come over and split a couple of cords of wood and put it away for us. I'm sure grateful to them.
