Spray-in bedliner: To spray or not to spray?

I intend to keep the top off the Ramcharger April-October. It is inevitable that it will get rained in. I've stripped the carpeting, so there will be nothing to hold moisture.

I'm tempted to have orange bedliner sprayed on the floor, but I'm worried about water wicking though seams, around edges, and bolt holes and causing more damage to the sheetmetal than no bedliner, and making future repairs a mess. Are my fears justified?

If I don't spray it, I'll have to have a rubber mat in the cargo area to keep stuff from sliding around. I'm assuming a rubber mat won't hold enbough water to cause rust. Even if begins to, at least I am not permanently commited as I would be with spray-in liner.

Up front, I think I am OK with foot traffic directly on painted steel. I'm kind of proud of the factory paint on the floor. It would be a shame to cover it up, and I think I can be equally proud if I drive it enough to polish the paint off in spots. With the top off, noise is not a problem. Heat transfer might be an issue in the hottest part of summer.

Who was selling M880 rubber mats a while back?

So what do you say? To spray or not to spray?

If ye say spray, do you have any recommendations of the best product to go with?
