find a shop that does quality work and has some older cars in progress that are being done professionally and in a timely manner. the shop that did my final paint on my command did the whole job from beginning to end in 2.5 weeks by working on it every day. i took it in for a final spray, expecting the guys to want to cut corners on taking some parts off. to my surprise, the team i chose wanted to take the truck down to the body tub, removing all bolt on items. they even removed the grill so they could spray everywhere and properly mask everything. BE WEARY of a shop looking to do your job as side work. the first shop i took it to said that would do it as a side job. i asked how much would i save over the posted rate and how long would it take. the response was no discount and the last side job took 2 years. NO THANKS.
