My club had it's 40th annual show this weekend. They do a good job emphasizing authenticity, but we also have modified classes where we can recognize the hard work that goes into custom creations. We discount entry fees for truly vintage vehicles, becuase that's what we want to see most at our shows.
I was a judge this year, and was impressed with the hard work that went into the vast majority of the entries-even the cars I didnt like.
They tried to give me a first place trophy for my Model A. I protested, Someone had obviously made a clerical error.
