Better than a trophy but very similar in function is a small wood plaque with a mounted metal plate printed with the main event T-shirt screen. I have several of these from SoCal nostalgia drags back in the late '80s and early '90s(NDRA, ANRA). For me, these are a nice reminder of those events, don't take up much space(can hang 'em on a wall), don't collect much dust and are made of zero percent plastic.

These are still not "usable" but as I stated, one can steal a glance at them and they serve to spark good memories.

Of course, these weren't handed out for looking good, they were given for performing good and thus winning races. My favorite cars at these events were true hot rods where time and money was spent making them faster than the next one, not prettier.
