built a stand and a fence for it and tested it out. works good nice precise cuts but I think needs a blade seemed to bog down easy (cutting tight grain doug fir 2x12). could be motor getting tired or dull blade. will work great for the cedar siding I have to do though. will throw a blade on it and see if the fir cuts easier.
