I installed another carb and it too is flooding horribly. The throttle body is filling up right away. Gas is running out both sides of the throttle plate shaft. Can a mechanical fuel pump pump so much fuel it overcomes the float needle? I put a thicker gasket on at the brass fitting and truned in the mixture adjustment screw and it still floods. Maybe this carb has a bad float.
