All 1/2 ton series WC military trucks came with 4.89 to 1 ratio's, not 4.88 to 1 ratios. The Willys MB and Ford GPW jeeps came with the 4.88 to 1 ratios. The 1/2 ton tech manuals give you the ratio in the "Service Standards" section in the back of the Books. The Civi Power Wagon came with the 5.83 to 1 ratio as standard and the 4.89 to 1 ratio as optional. If you ordered the 4.89 ratio in the truck, the factory installed 750-16 tires and wheels not the 900-16's as came with the 5.83 ratio.
