someone here just posted about using a custom plastic one from a hot rod shop. sounds better than using cardboard. i can't recall who posted about it, but it did look nice. i used a fiberboard dash / firewall pad, but ditched the cardboard backing insulator and used dynamat pink behind it. supposed to reduce noise / heat. i think doing dynamat on the cab roof / sides would be a worthwhile effort. mannyc
