but does not the 205 have a spring loaded gear that supposedly quiets the tc noise down a hair, as I recall that is what J. Minyard told me back in the day. He even went so far as to say that you could swap the spring loaded gear from the 205 to the 200 and quiet down.

This is ehat I recall he said when he rebuilt my 205 on my 65 w100
