chances are it has been milled before and you
might end up with too high of a compression
a few years back the head gasket let go on
my 48. Pulled the head and found 2 gaskets
I called the original owner Norm and asked
him about the 2. He said the last time he
rebuilt the engine he had to mill the head.
he could not get a new one so he used 2 gaskets to reduce the compression. I bought
a new head from VPW.
