after a tour of duty in europe, a rebuild by mercedes in the 50s, a stint outside in the elements and a decades long restore, the command car is retired. it is sleeping in the garage with a french military parachute covering it. if we get to the point that i would consider driving it outside in a hurricane, we are all screwed. im hoping to get a barn built with a lift, so that when the big one comes, the command stays high and dry.....
