Thats Italian for alternator. OK the 2 wire terminals on the alternator have small little fiber washers that insulate the connector from the alternator case. These are a must and make sure you do not over tighten the small nut that holds them in place. They break!! You should be able to replace the burned wire and once they are on the right connectors it should work if the alternator is not damaged. The voltage regulator should be OK. PS the diode is inside the unit and can not be cleaned. Good Luck. So im not sure what you are talking about. Good Luck Bill
