I ran into the same thing on my 64 TownWagon. I had two Dodge/Ford rims and two chevy. As they say close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Don't try to grind out the centers just get the right rims, there are plenty out there. Oh and tell the salvage yard specialist that Chevy centers are smaller so the next guy doesn't end up in the same boat.
