M14 semi auto. Receiver is crap. But the rest is all GI, with a Sako of USA air gauged barrel.

The receiver barrel threads were cast, not machined. Sloppy and crooked. It had sub MOA accuracy, but the cases could not be reloaded without ripping because the bolt was crooked to the barrel. Can't afford to shoot it if the accurate loads cost $1 each for the brass. I adjusted the barrel to make it straight to the bolt face, which caused vertical stringing on the target. 6" tall for a five shot string, width tight. Bad bedding any more, having changed the angle of barrel to stock- no preload at the front ferrule. This week I adjusted the bedding. I may make to the range tomorrow, see whether I'm back to MOA. If so, I've got a Boyd heavy laminated stock to set it into.
