the republicans would have caved and allowed tax increases and an open checkbook to raise the debt ceiling and keep spending. just watch this week as our president starts beating the drum for more stimulus spending in response to the faltering markets. he will frame it as another immediate 'emergency' and that if the don't print money we will all die. that's what happened with the first and second stimulus packages. they were immediately needed to keep unemployment below 8%. how'd that work out? ALL politicians are corrupt and this current crew is the worst ever. it is our duty to police them send the most corrupt ones packing.
dodge content - none, except that whenever i drive my command car, i am reminded of what united Americans could once do once focused and challenged. it amazes me that we could crank out whatever was needed to win ww2 without any of the govt agencies we have now. we allowed these agencies to be formed. it is our responsibility to put them in check.
