Brett -
Thanks for posting the links on Graham Bowell. In the family the truck is named “Bodwell”
I well remember that propeller, in the house built of old utility poles.
My father accompanied Graham on his last visit to the South America sheep farm, about 20 years ago.
Fuzzy facts .. I posted Graham was 87, your link has him passing at 93. I stand corrected.
The link has the sheep farm in Chili. I'm pretty sure it was in Argentina -- Patigonia, Tiera del Fuego, with the ozone layer holes that give you skin cancer after 10 minutes outside.

Once I' m feeling the FFPW is road worthy, I should drive 40 miles north and look up John Gorny and see how he's doing with Graham's steam tractor, a much bigger project that the truck I took home.

PW content – Note ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP reference
John G. was the twenty years younger shop buddy of Graham. Graham passed in 2004 at age 93.
About 1994 John got the 52FFPW fired up, with an electric fuel pump and a gas can strapped to the fender, after cleaning out the carb. He told the old man not to run any fuel from the rusting gas tank. Later the old man hooked up the lines to the rusting gas tank, and clogged it all up again. Shop buddy John was too annoyed to work on it again, so it rested another 10-12 years until I got it.
It is now on the road, with a mechanical fuel pump from VPW, which has performed flawlessly for over 40 miles, and a plastic gas can strapped down in the bed. I have the original tank in my shed, dealing with that rusty mess is way down on my things-to-do list.
