I'm not sure what your apprehension is regarding a 4BT....700lbs of torque from a 4bt is easy & it'll still live for 300K miles?
Anyway, the answer regarding a 6BT is no...no way to fit one without stretch or major firewall mods.
If a 4BT is out of the question even though they are commonly run even stock from Cummins putting out the numbers you're looking for...you may fit a 6AT but it won't put out the power of a 4BT. There's not the aftermarket support because the 4BT & 6BT use many of the same goodies.
