Be careful with using such a kit, check out "square top carb secrets" in the "best of the forum".
Like Todd says, neatsfoot oil is the best oil to use on leather. You can get it at any leather shop, or online at Tandy leather. I also used it when I made my shifter cover, steering wheel shaft seal and brake/clutch seals on the firewall, periodically wipe it on them to keep them supple and preserved.
