I'm not well-off in the money department, and live paycheck to paycheck. I have free use of the machine shop I used to work at, so the cost of milling the head is zip, just the gasket. I would LOVE to have a 4BT, 440, or (even better) some sort of Hemi between the framerails in my '50. It's not going to happen for years, if at all. To you guys who have the money to do what you want, cheers. I can't, and that's why I'm trying to squeeze a little more out of my 230. I have two complete other T137 engines. I can mess with one if I want. I have two other Power Wagons- if I want a complete original, I'll save it for one of them... probably the WDX. I agree with purists half of the time. To be honest, I'm keeping the '50 until I'm dead- I don't give a flip about what it's value is on the market. If you're just going to give me beef about originality, don't bother to post. Really. I have a ton of respect for most of you- I'd like to keep it that way. Thanks for any and all help, guys.
