Though I just checked my notes, I see 80cc.

But lessee, 8:1 would mean the chamber is about 1/8 the displacement as the cylinder. 230 divide by 6 = 38 cubes displacement per cylinder, times 1/8 = 4.8. 80cc it is.

Though I did guess about the surface area of the combustion chamber, I guessed 10 square inches. That would be NOT the size of the hole in the head gasket, but approximately the hole in the head gasket minus the flat area of the head over the piston.

So, looks like my 10:1 difference is close enough for today's discussion, milling .060 off raises the ratio nearly one whole step.

But we still don't have an OE spec for head thickness.
