I need to get this solved. Last thing to do before I start driving my truck.
'51 B3PW with 2 wire plus ground fuel tank sender:
wiring is OK to gauge
gauge is OK
sender reads open between terminals
sender reads 40 ohms in full position
reads 0 ohms in empty position
(either terminal and ground to float rod)
Does anyone have advice on fixing these things or can send me the wiring diagram for the 2 wire sender? My B3 shop manual only has schematic for 1 wire setup.
Don't really want to spend the money to get a rebuild or a different fuel gauge and sender, but it is preventing me from driving my truck!
