So they have set up a system where you log into Facebook and send any picture in. You can have the picture sent straight from the camera in your phone, or you can upload an image from your computer.

Here all the images need to be hosted somewhere else, Joe does not host all the images. This means you need something like a Flickr account to host the image, and then you need to get the URL (the string of text that shows the direct location of the image) to post here on the forum.

The image I just posted it hosted by me at townwagon.com

I pay for that name and the space used by it.

The image in question is located here:

http://www.townwagon.com/powergiantregistry/images/L6W1L17936/truckpicture1.jpg

If you do not have a string of text like that you can not display the image on Joe's forum. Note how that ends in the more common image suffix of .jpg

If you have a URL (the string of text) that ends in something like .html, that is a web page, NOT the bare image. You need to have just the image URL that ends in something like .jpg or .gif for the image to show up like mine did below.

Let me know if that makes sense.

Remember the basics, to display an image on Joe's forum you need to have the picture uploaded on the web somewhere already. You can not upload it from your computer directly to Joe's forum like you can to Facebook.

There are more detailed instructions at the link.

Eric
