If a person takes a pile of parts and makes it a running, driving, and safer than stock vehicle it,s called a Hot Rod, Resto Mod or even Rat Rod. Some give it a bad name because of cobbleing things up. Any vehicle put together with stock parts is original but they are very very far and few between. A mutt is a new one.
