the 19.5 pre dates motorhomes. it has an extremely high load capacity and is desinged for high mileage, high load bearing trucks. there is a traction tire available but most the treads are an economy design. military and commercail used them quite a bit in the 50 thru the 70s. mine are E rated but those arenot available anymore youcan only nuy F rated or heigher in a 19.5/ I love mine on my 2 wheel drive. 17 mps with the slant 6! cant complain. they have recently made a come back in the medium truck world because of the superior fuel economy of skinny tires. Lots of tilt bed tow rigs and such are runnigt hem these days.
