On a 77 360 you will have to run a 360 flywheel.Most were the 10.5 clutches.If your lucky you might find a 11".You might be able to run a 318 fly,but dont rev it up much..I was dumb a couple of times.I ran a 360 behind a 727(auto) that was for a 318.End results-broken crank.I also did a 318 with a 360 fly-end result was bad vibration at first,then broken crank.I learn the hard way I guess?You can run a 400 cast crank fly if you can find one.They seem to be a little easier to find a 11".I have ran a 318 fly behind my 440 for years.People say it cant be done?Well,I have.The only downfall I had was the 10.5 clutch. If all else fails,I may have a extra 360 fly Id sell? It isnt going to mater what bell housing you use as long as you can use the correct tooth match for starter and fly.
