Sounds like you're going to have to do what I'm going to have to do on the M37 before I head over the hill -- pull the drums off and see what's going on in there. The M35 brake system is basically just like M37 system except bigger and with the air/hydraulic boost. No magic to it, but no fun to pull those drums either, especially on the rear. I never had mine make noise, so I don't have any clever tips on it. I would make sure I knew WHICH drum was making the noise, maybe by having someone walk or drive along side you and listen, before going to the hassle of pulling them.
