Very interesting about the 85/140. I've been using that because I got it cheap, but always assumed it was too thick. The WDX has a crashbox tranny, right? I'm wondering if EP oil was recommended in the M37 tranny which has synchros on 3rd and 4th. I haven't had one apart, but I assume they're made of brass. I don't have the military lube order for the M37, but the old lube orders I've seen for other rigs don't distinguish between EP and non EP or GL1 and GL4 or GL5.
