Rorry, I bought a 78 pw new in 78. the 31 inch tire is the biggest diameter tire that will fit without doing work to the fenders. the 3/4 tons sat a little higher but I don't know if it would be high enough to do you any good. my tires rubbed a little bit, but they were 13.50/31's and just the edge of the tire caught but not enough to crumple the fender. truck looked very nice w/the fat tires. mine almost always got me back from where I'd been. just three things to remember, there are places where you go fast, there are places where you go slow, and there are places where you DON'T go. good advice from a dear friend, thanks Herb!!
