Does anyone have a picture of a bare seat frame. I was told by an upholstery guy that the wire around the outside on the top of the bottom bench should be continuous around each end. My seat has the wire cut in the middle on both sides crimped together. He was asking me to butt weld the ends together and also gave me a six foot piece of wire to cut in half and follow the contour of the top wire and weld it to the top wire to give the seat strength. It looks like the seat was made with the wire ends crimped in the middle. This whole thing started because the driver's side was not crimped and the wires were just hanging there. Any help would be appreciated.
