1 & 3. Low vacuum will cause gas as you describe. Try giving it a good shot of straight gas down the carb to get gas to the cylinders, once it fires it may settle down and improve. Low vacuum is always a concern though.
2. A condenser can go bad quickly, but you need to check wiring again. Also check no crud between the points. Check point gap again. Have you got the ignition timing right?
