Removing bushing from front spring mount

Im putting the axels back on my 52 B3 PW The rear went to gether perfect. On the front I cant drive the old bushings out of the frame mounted carrier that holds the springs. My old bushings are in bad shape. Do I drill or try to cut the old bushing to remove them Thanks
