A good one sold for $800 from GL at Malmstrom AFB last year. They sell some pretty ratty M105s out of the DRMOs, but I've seen only good M101s sold, and most of them are in better shape and more original than the ones people are trying to sell privately. I paid $400 at Ft Lewis for a pristine one about 10 years ago, but that was before GL was really going like it is now.

One thing to look out for, if you're towing with an M37 or other Dodge truck is that you want one with Dodge axles and 5-lug budd rims. A lot of them have some newer axles (not sure what) with different rims, hubs, drums, etc. The trouble with that is then you'd have to carry two spare tires, one for your truck and one for your trailer. I have also seen some with surge brakes, which is a nice feature.
