need some opinions on this truck and what it is

i have this truck here for some work and nothing seems to match. the vin # says its a 1955. the cab says it is a 46 to 50.
can tremember what the plugs in the floor tell me. the bed is a third series. this looks like a pieced together truck to me. ideas and opinions? thanks, dan m
