When my wife and I moved here FROM California in 1971, Californians were UNpopular. Bumper stickers said "Have a Nice Trip BACK to Calif." and "Don't Californicate North Idaho". I found these amusing because we were moving here for the exact opposite reason. We wanted to escape the hassels, laws, restrictions, and development-crazy mentality behind us. Last thing we wanted was to bring it with us. Unfortunately they don't all have the same idea as we did. Most want to bring all the stupidity with them. Maybe it's time to resurrect those bumper stickers.
