We took the Carryall (WC53) and the Power Wagon to a car show yesterday. The wife drives the Carryall and I get the PW. She says the Carryall is easier to drive. She won the Best Truck 1909 to 1949.
She did get a reminder how good the brakes are in the Carryall. Just a couple of blocks from home the person in front of me decided to make a let turn at the last moment. I braked a little hard and noticed in my rear view mirror that the Carryall was a little sideways. I mentioned it to her when we got to the show and she said "I expected to hear about that" The brakes on the Carryall will lock up all four on dry pavement if you hit them too hard. With the slightly wet road yesterday she did had a little fun. The Hydroboost system really works well and I have it adjusted so the rears will lock up after the front. You just have to remember not to jump on them. A good steady peddle pressure is all it takes.
