I use an old man fairly regularly for removing screws on commercial aircraft. It works very well but you do still break a lot of apexes(screw driver tips) so wear eye protection. An alternative to Snap On tools I would try "The Yard" in witchita Kansas. You can reach them on the net. If you need it I can probably get an address and phone number, just E-mail me.They sell new and used tools and an old man through The yard is fairly cheap.
