With the wheel off and the drum on, you'll see a single screw holding a small clip on the rim of the drum. The clip covers a slot cut into the drum. You may not have the clip, so you'll see only the slot. Stick a feeler gauge in there while turning the shoe adjusting cams on the other side of the backing plate. Not sure what the gauge size is, you can find that in a PW manual. Do you have the operators manual the VPW has reproduced? They should have given you one of those when you bought the truck. It has all the basic maintenance procudures in there. If you want, forget the gauge and simply adjust the cams until the shoe stops, or turn the drum until you have some slight resistance. Make sure you bleed after that since you may have moved the shoes out, which lets the wheel cylinder pistons travel more, using up more fluid. You can do this excercise periodically since these brakes are not self adjusting. This is a general descr1ption of the procedure, some guys may or may not be as exacting as the manual calls for. Although, as brakes, they deserve more attention than some of the other problems you'll come across.
