i just bought a m880 about a month ago.
$1500 20,000miles
i had the same two hot wires on the left side of instrument panel, must have been a toggle or somthing. mine were arching with the metal dash, also causing smoke.
since ive covered them havent had a prob.
if you remove the blackout kit nothing works.
ive heard of a another kit to return it to civil.
mabybe through national guard?
i have the orig. blackoutt kit and everything seems to work ok. i just dont frig with it. it does "blackout" everything.
i cant wait till i go to hook up radio,reverse lights, trailer lights, elec. brake booster, etc.
