Working on Power Wagons is a contant adventure.
I was preparing to replace the front wheel cylinders this weekend with Richard D. from Birmingham. cousulted my trusty PW Survival Manual and found the only reference to brakes was NAPA stock #B-89. (I assume this is for front or rear?) My NAPA salesman is very aware of PW's and is following my project carefully. He will overnite parts at no expense to me.
Horrified we found that this part B-89 for Power Wagon brake shoes is no longer made and there are none on any shelves in any NAPA nationwide. Further checks found this is the same part number for Raybestos and Wagner and supposedly they do not make them either. Do we no longer have a source for these parts at a reasonable price? I believe the old price was 73.99 for just two shoes?
Can anyone out there share a source, part numbers for front and rear (if same shoes fit WDX up to WM300), and suggested price?
We had better stay up on availability and alternate resources.
