An even better tool for removing the hinge screws is called the "Shake and Break" by Snap-On it fits in your air hammer and has a handle perpendicular to the shaft. The different sized screwdriver bits can be inserted in the end of the shaft. Put the bit in the screw, pull the trigger and turn the handle. Screw comes out like magic. I have yet to see it fail and it never buggers up the screw head. For removing hinge pins, they make straight and offset punches designed for use in air hammers. I don't know who makes them, but I have seen them used with great effect. Once the old pins are out, ream the hinges to size and install an oversize pin.
