well the 61-71 page had a list of people that fixed steering but not sure of name now. I cant remeber what typeof truck you have at moment but all steering has adjuster to take up slack. You can adjust slack out of middle but thats where it wears the most and it will be tight out on ends
steering and brakes is where I would NOT hesitate to spend some bucks. If the truck dosnt go you cant hurt yourself or someone else, but if it dosnt steer or stop that just unsafe
