The cut of the gears would be a problem as far as strength goes.

The other problem is that when you placed the
reverse t-case in "OD", it would make first gear on your trans be like 3rd, and you would have to ride the clutch hard to get the truck to move without stalling. An NP540 direct would have to be used.

I thought about doing this trick, but realized I needed a few more beers to sober
my thoughts.
