We grown kids sometimes forget that it was the hotwheels, johnny lightning, matchbox, and
models that helped feed our love of cars and trucks when we were still too young to drive.
Experiences like setting models afire or strapping bottle rockets to hotwheels for that realistic effect (Which got some butts tore up good) made for memories that would last a lifetime. If you have a son, always buy two of any PW toy or model you get so you can save one for show or collecting and one for him to play with,it really spurs their enthusiasum for PWs.
One of the neatest items to come along has been the ultimate soldier brand toys. They are as good if not better and might I add better detailed than the G.I. JOE brand toys. They now offer scale size tanks, helicopters, jeeps,a flathead harley w/message deliverer that is soo realistic as well as other pieces but,NO Dodge pieces !
My 9 yr old son wants a PW in this size( I guess a gI joe scale would be 1:6 ?)to play with. He's crazy about the Johnny West w/horse I bought him over the net and wants to build a horse trailer and pull it with a PW the Johnny West can sit in.Yes I let him play in the dirt with a real JW and horse, you only live once ! If I could get an e-mail address for the company that makes these great 1:6 scale toys could I count on you guys flooding them with request for a PW of that scale as you voted for the PW in the poll? Possibly with a figure in overalls and feed sacks and hay bales in the bed.Thats my sons idea. He seems to think we both can get in the dirt and play with the PW. Yea, we're up having a hoot this morning but seriously,if we could at least get an M-37 built first and they saw how well they sell, they might just build us a 1:6, G.I. JOE scale WDX-WM300. Think about it.Check out their stuff at Toys R us.
Excuse me while I go beat the snot atta this boy, I just took a direct hit to the head with a couch cushion!
