some guys have good luck welding cast- I've had much better luck when I've brazed it. Either way you'll have to pull it to gain access, then grind to all new metal,built up plenty of rod, grind flat again,drill and tap new holes.Welding requires special rod,special tactics( preheat area,peen it as it cools, etc) good luck, let us know if your repair works, chris.
