According to Fred W. Crismon's "U.S. Military Tracked Vehicles" book on pages 227 & 228 (pictures also) the U.S. Army tested the Tucker models 423, 643 and variations of the 743 at Fort Churchill, Manatoba, Canada in winter 1948-1949. On page 238 is a picture of the 21,000 pound model 843 built for the U.S. Navy to use in Antarctica during 1968-69. I'm currently running a 1949 and a 1963 Sno-Kitten.
