It was the Forum before that, and I asked the question.
I knew that older cars had only one key lock and that was on the passengers side door. I asked why.
Bottom line: When you parked along the street (which EVERYONE did back then) it was safer to exit and enter the vehicle from the passenger (curb) side. Someone posted that it was a law in some states.
