Wiper problem.

I have a 50 b-2-pw. I'm trying to remove the wiper motors. One side was missing some external hardware, namely: the circular piece on the external end of the motor shaft, so removal required only removing the exterior retaining nut. The other side has that circular piece still attached to the end of the shaft, and I can't figure out how to remove it. It seems to have a small pin running thru the top half that is keeping the circular piece from unscrewing or being pulled off. Any help would be appreciated. Also, does anyone know of an electrical retro-fit for this truck. It still has a 6 volt system I would like to retain. Thanks, Richard Rogers
