I heard of one that sold at the Leake Auction for approx. $25,000. This gets you a "new" old truck with all of the attention to detail. $7,500 for the ones at VPW is less a bed and winch. Then you will have the cost of brake repair. All this for an additional $3,500 (approx). Then you'll have a truck with all the leaks and problems (characteristics) of an 'original' truck, as well as needing fresh paint and mechanical scrutiny (sp).

With saying all this, I have a great appreciation for an original truck - I just couldn't find one, that brings me to my current restoration project.
